Raise a Glass for a Cause 4 will be held on May 4, 2016 from 5:30pm-9:00pm at Mo’s Chalet, 3201 Houma Blvd., Metairie, La.

Want to have a fun Saturday and support Metro at the same time? Join us for a poker run. The run starts at Lake Maurepas and ends in St. Rose. You don’t need a  motorcycle to join in the run-any vehicle with wheels can enter. You may be the big winner at the end. This event is being sponsored by the Green Knights

Beginning July 27th, donations can be made on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-4:30pm only.

Metro was the recipient of the Outstanding Organization Award and Evelena received a Merit Award for her 15+ years of service to the field.  Marge Garvey presented Evelena with beautiful red roses on behalf of our Board of Directors.  Metro was proudly represented by several Board Members and Staff!!  We had 2 1/2 tables of attendees!

A great need for caring VOLUNTEERS

Metro is in need of daytime Crisis Call volunteers. All training will be provided by Metro. If you are interested  in our continuous efforts to eliminate and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault, please call the 24-hour hotline or fill out an application on our website and e-mail it to the provided address. Training starting in January 2013 for all volunteers. Thank you.
